Earnest

Age: 4.5 Years / Breed: Great Pyrenees and Shepherd Mix/ Sex: Male / Rescue: Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue.
"Rowan, who we are now calling Earnest, has found himself homeless after his family raised him from a puppy and he was loving and loyal to them for over 4 years before they abandoned him over their own neglect to provide proper supervision in their invisible fenced yard and had a very minor incident with someone who came into the yard unannounced. Earnest loved his family so much and he has been depressed and sad ever since they left him, with only fleeting moments of playfulness here and there. Earnest takes some significant time to warm up to his new people, but he does love to be pet and loved once he knows you're his friend. Earnest would do best as an only dog in the home, in a one person household with no children. "

Splinter

Age: 12 Years / Breed: Yorkshire Terrier and Chihuahua Mix / Sex: Male / Rescue: PawPrints Animal Rescue
"Hey, Splinter here! You are most probably wondering why a handsome 12 year old (estimated by our vet) guy like me is looking for a home. Well, here's my story. I came into the shelter after a really rough life, my owner did not have me neutered, my teeth were in horrible shape, my nails were super long, my skin was so itchy from flea bites that I scratched ALL the time, my tail bone was broken and I'd been shot with a BB. Whew! The worst part is I was dehydrated and emaciatedI was so happy when PawPrints Animal Rescue took me in and found a foster home for me and Boy has my life changed! Currently I live with my foster mom and her four senior dogs and let me tell you, Life is good! I've been neutered, had a dental and my itchy skin is healing nicely and now I'm ready to find a family of my own.I don't think I'd do well with young children or with high energy dogs because I have a sore back and the little ones and rambunctious dogs may unintentionally knock into me so I'm looking for someone who can be gentle with me. I love to cuddle but my forever family would have to make sure to lift me on and off the couch so I don't make my back sore again but don't worry, I weigh less than 6 pounds so lifting me would be a breeze! I know I'd make a great companion for an older person who's looking for an adorable lap dog!"

Connery

Age: Kitten / Breed: Domestic Short Hair Mix / Sex: Male / Rescue: Lucky Tales Rescue, Inc.
"Excuse my attire, but this dashing tuxedo is all I had to wear. My other tux is at the cleaners. Either way, I’m here, I’m bigger than life and full of that 007 vim and vigor. What’s this you ask? I got this scar on my right eye when I escaped from Alcatraz (don’t let him fool you, folks, he got it as a result of his previous illness before he came to rescue).Like my brother, Wall-e, I’ve fought life-threatening illness. I run hard, play hard, and I snuggle even harder. I don’t just try my best, I’m a winner, and you know what they say about winners.Even though I will likely have lifelong occasional upper respiratory issues, I will always come out the hero, just like my namesake! When I’m not captaining a submarine, finding treasure, or wooing the ladies with my super spy panache, Cado and I will work out by sheet wrangling, improving our parkour moves, and beating our best time doing sneak runs up the bedroom curtains. One must always be prepared for battle! To stay in tip-top shape, my new super-secret spy lair (home) should have a sidekick for me."

Zelda

Age: 6 Months / Breed: Great Pyrenees Mix / Sex: Female / Rescue: Big Fluffy Dog Rescue
"Meet Zelda! She is a 6-month-old fluffylicious Great Pyrenees puppy looking for her forever home. Zelda is a super social, playful, sweet, and smart puppy who will need a home that understands that puppies are puppies and she will need help and patience with teaching her how to be a good dog.Zelda has a hemophiliac-type bleeding disorder so if she has a bleeding-type injury, she needs a trip to the vet for a plasma transfusion. We are looking for a home for her without other dogs (or super chill dogs) to minimize the risk of injury.Zelda is working on her potty training and leash walking, but she is crate trained. Zelda will also need someone with Great Pyrenees or Livestock Guardian Dog experience, (this does not include experience with large dogs) and a fenced yard. She is also not a candidate for apartment or condo living."

Gronk

Age: 2.5 Years / Breed: Pit Bull / Sex: Male / Rescue: Adore-A-Bull Rescue
"Hi! My name is GRONK! My foster family sometimes calls me Wonky Gronky because my right ear doesn’t lay down, I have two different color eyes and I have an underbite - but they say that’s part of what makes me so irresistibly cute! The other part comes from my sweet, human-adoring personality!I am 2.5 years old and came back to the rescue after learning that I would thrive better in an environment without small animals (I like to bark at small dogs) or small children...I’m a bit of a nervous fellow. However, because the wonderful people at Adore-A-Bull saw that I needed some structure and training, they brought me back and are putting me through a board-and-train program! Now I’m gaining the confidence to be the bestest, happiest doggo I can be!I weigh about 50 lbs and have a boxer-type build. I get along great with my siblings - both four-legged and two-legged. When I get free time at training my favorite thing is to lay my head on my trainer’s knee - I just love him so much! My foster mom says someone is going to be really lucky when they take me home for forever...could it be you?!"

Zeke

Age: 15 Weeks / Breed: Boxer Mix / Sex: Male / Rescue: East Coast Boxer Rescue
"This sweet boy is Zeke. He is 15 weeks old. He was born with a front leg deformity and struggled the most growing up between him and his brother. He is on the small side. He is the “class clown". He is always running around doing his “bunny hop" and is always happy. And even with 3 legs, he does just as well as everyone."

Cratchit

Age: 1 Year / Breed: Jack Russell Terrier Mix / Sex: Female / Rescue: Hope Fur Pets
"Hello meet Cratchit a beautiful Jack Russell mix that was surrendered to the the Hope Fur Pets Rescue. She’s about a year old, and will be ready to go into her forever home after the 7th when she’s been spayed. She will need to be the only pet, she was farm raised and she doesn’t like to be second, she wants all the attention and to be the only one. We believe she will be fine with a couple, but not smaller kids. She’s really sweet and always runs up to give a hug and greet us. I'm all up to date on vet care appropriate for my age including heartworm prevention, spay/neuter, microchip and all vaccinations and ready to be the newest member of your home!"

Jack

Age: 9 Months / Breed: American Bulldog / Sex: Male / Rescue: Peaches Bully Rescue
"Jack is a 9 month old 30lb American Bully who came to us in need of emergency vet care for his uretha. Luckily, he did well recovering from multiple surgeries and has mastered a diaper system. His beautiful coloring and love for following humans around makes him the cutest ever!Jack has spina bifida and thus is completely incontinent. He requires diapers full time due to his constant dripping of urine and no control of his bowels. His assessment from the vet indicates that this is a permanent condition. Jack gets along with the some dogs and the cat in the house but his optimal home would be as an only dog or 1 dog in the home as he gets overstimulated. His club feet do allow him to be mobile and do a few steps but not able to go for long walks. His favorite activity is wiggling on the couch with his toys and humans."

While Zandine hasn't met a person she doesn't like, she would love to have a home all to herself with no other cats or dogs to steal her limelight! Marmaduke

Age: 3.5 Years / Breed: Great Dane Mix / Sex: Male / Rescue: Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue
"Marmaduke is a true gentleman. He is 3 and 1/2 years old weighing in around 88 pounds but he definitely has some weight to gain. He is house/crate trained but still working on basic commands and walking on a leash. Being a Great Dane mix he has no sense of personal space! This dude is pretty strong and doesn’t always understand how big he actually is but loves to lay all over you to cuddle and get pets. He is fostered with one other large male dog and does great with him.this cuddly fellow can’t wait to find his forever family! "

Marley

Age: 2 Years / Breed: Domestic Short Hair and Siamese Mix / Sex: Male / Rescue: Save the Animals Foundation
"This gorgeous blue-eyed Siamese mix is a big ole marshmallow who couldn’t hurt a flea. Serenity is his fondest wish in order to feel comfortable and secure. As he has spent much of his time with us “turtling" under a cat bed or blanket, Marley requires people to give him gentle encouragement and accept that he may take quite some time to feel completely at home. Although hiding is his defense mode, this gentle guy responds adorably to soft words and affection by rolling around and soaking up the love. Marley enjoys sitting in a lap, when those who have taken the time to get to know him pick him up and set him there. This sweetheart has been through a lot and deserves constancy in his life. A man sought to “get rid of him" because he was moving. Are you able to offer Marley the warmth and security of a truly forever-and-ever home? Then this handsome gentleman would be pleased to make your acquaintance!"

"Anya is a gorgeous fluff of a gal who is waiting for just the right person! In addition to her luxurious coat, Anya is a talker who enjoys some independence and a bit of time alone. (Cue the introvert in all of us!) A special thing about her is that she has a fun and unique sing-songy purr when she eats! One important note Anya wants to share is that she's ready to be THE queen of the castle, and she'd prefer to be the only cat in the house. Drop in today to see if she's the girl for you!"

Momo

Age: 2 Years / Breed: Domestic Medium Hair / Sex: Female / Rescue: Crazy Cats Animal Rescue
"I am about 2 years old. I’m very very sweet and I love to be pet. I was living outside and I was trapped with my kittens as part of a TNR project, I had to have 2 of my back toes removed due to infection but it doesn’t affect me in any way. I would do best in a quiet home. I am spayed, FIV/Felv Negative, UTD on vaccinations, and microchipped (with lifetime free registration)."

Freckles

Age: 3 Years / Breed: German Shorthaired Pointer and Pit Bull Mix / Sex: Male / Rescue: Lucky Tales Rescue, Inc.
"Fitting name, don't you think? Who's loving life after spending 2 years in a shelter?? THIS GUY!I'm 3 years old and, yes, I spent two of them at the shelter. smh. My foster mom can't figure out why I was there so long. I'm pretty chill in the house but outside I can get super playful. Lucky Tales thinks I may be a Pointer mixed with some Pit, all I know is that I love playing with other dogs and I'm learning to overcome my shyness with people. My new family should have at least one other playful dog, a securely fenced yard, and an abundance of love and patience. Now that I can run around and play, I've even lost a few pounds. I'm a solid fella weighing in around 75 lbs. I've been around older kids (11 and 14) and they're pretty cool. I just need a little time to get used to new people.I'm up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered."
