30 Gluten-Free Holiday Recipes That Don't Sacrifice Any Of The Flavor (2024)

30 Gluten-Free Holiday Recipes That Don't Sacrifice Any Of The Flavor (1)

We know it might be hard to believe, but serving up a gluten-free holiday feast does not have to be complicated (or require all kinds of hard-to-find substitutions)! As it turns out, so many of our favorite holiday foods are naturally gluten-free, no fancy substitutions needed. Don't believe us? Get back to us after you have a hearty plateful of our all-time 30 favorite gluten-free Christmas classics, like brown sugar pineapple ham, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and plenty of gluten-free Christmas cookies, too. Don't be surprised if the gluten-free dishes at your get-together are the first to vanish!

We have to admit that a few of the holiday classics are not as friendly for gluten-free guests. We nixed the regular flour and bread crumbs common in many holiday dishes (like in our gluten-free green bean casserole, gluten-free stuffing, and gluten-free gravy) to make versions you might find are just as good (if not better!) than the originals.

If you've yet to experiment with almond flour, now is the time! It's the key to so many of our favorite gluten-free desserts and lends a nutty flavor and richness to our almond cake, gluten-free Christmas pudding, and gluten-free thumbprint cookies. Santa will absolutely not be mad about eating a batch of our amaretti cookies. 😋

Looking for more gluten free cooking? Try all of our gluten-free Christmas cookies, gluten-free appetizers, gluten-free Thanksgiving desserts, and gluten-free Thanksgiving recipes. And if you ever wondered what exactly is gluten and what happens to your body when you go gluten-free, we've got tons of handy guides about this mysterious protein.
