Directions for making this Cake Mix Chocolate Chip Santa Cookies Recipe:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

While your oven is preheating, combine the white cake mix, egg whites, all purpose flour and vegetable oil, and make sure that you have mixed it all together really well.

Now, add in the ¾ cup of chocolate chips and the holiday sprinkles.

Make sure that you are mixing these add-ins by hand, as using an electric mixer will break things apart will kind of run the desired effect once they are baked.

Now you are going to scoop about a tablespoon's worth of cookie dough and then roll the cookie dough into 1-2" size balls and place each cookie dough ball 2-3" a part on your baking sheets.

Gently press down on the cookie dough balls - we don't want them to be completely flat, but don't leave them as a ball! They should be about ½ inch thick.

Now place a few extra chocolate chips and sprinkles on top of each cookie dough so that they bake up nice and pretty!

Place your baking sheet in the oven and bake these cake mix cookies for about 8-10 minutes.

They do not turn golden brown because remember, we didn't use any brown sugar! They are going to look like they're not "done" because they are a light color. This is the intended result we are looking for!

  • 1 box white cake mix any brand
  • 2 large egg whites REMOVE THE YOLKS
  • 2 tbs. flour
  • ½ C. oil
  • ¾ C. chocolate chips and extra to press on top of the cookies prior to baking
  • ¼ C. red white and green holiday sprinkles

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Combine the cake mix, egg whites, flour and oil, mixing well. Add in the ¾ cup of chocolate chips.
