Describes the restaurant Anse Marcel Beach Resort as a laid-back resort with private beach area, dining, bar, and pool. The restaurant offers sophisticated salads and seafood served on the beach. The food is among the best in the world and service has been excellent for years.

Slide 1 of 12

Our favorite restaurant on Saint Martin, and lovely beach. The food is among the best we’ve had anywhere in the world. I was particularly thrilled to see that EVERYONE working in the kitchen the day we were there last week were female. Perhaps this is the secret! My father has visited for lunch and beach multiple times a year for almost a decade (except when Irma closed the island) and he always raves about Anse Marcel. The service has always been excellent.

Fannie at the beach bar was just amazing.. she made drinks to perfection.. worked the mixologist craft.. the food is worth every calorie.. come here, spend an afternoon and skip dinner.. let's someone else drive and enjoy some of the calmest waters on the island!! Merci

Place is wonderful. Staff is so nice. Beautiful rooms. Nice and quiet. Views from our patio are hard to beat. Need to rent a car for here though. A little off the beaten path.

Anse Marcel Beach Resort is arguably one of the nicest beach spots for lunch on the island. Great atmosphere, great beach, and good food. However, service is slow and they are not very friendly. I also saw them kick people off the beach in front of the restaurant and made them move down by the water sports tower…which I am fairly certain is illegal on French beaches — they are all public. Bathrooms are mostly clean and they have a cute boutique. Make a reservation if you want to go and plan in advance.

Located on a beautiful bay with sandy white beach and crystal clear sea Anse Marcel Beach Restaurant offers a delightful way to pass the afternoon. Be sure to book a table as they book up especially on the weekends. There are also several pagodas which are the best tables to reserve. This is an upmarket beach restaurant with very good french food and wine. You can rent beach chairs and spend the day dining and lounging or alternatively simply come for a chic Sunday lunch.

Great destination. Quite, water was amazing, good place to eat, friendly service. We spent from 10am to 4:30pm.They have water sports on the beach, boutiques, and more.Great alternative for a full day on the beach.

I went there for a solo date. Took myself out for a relaxing day. The view is truly amazing and breathtaking. The service was above average and the food was delightful. I recommend going here to have a drink with a friend to enjoy the stunning view overseeing the clear blue water. However, with the service just be prepared. Other than that, It is also very family friendly. Would definitely bring my family here as well for a day out.IG bellamafia_Food: Bella_foodlover

Most beautiful beach restaurant in Saint Martin. Food is great, they are now serving big portion. It was used to be small in the past, more like Tasting menu. Kufos to the kitchen.

Great experience, one of St Martin’s best kept secrets in my opinion. Hotel and restaurant staff, restaurant, beach, and gift shop all amazing - they work hard to make a great experience and I will definitely be back. The restaurant was far better than any of the restaurants in Grand Case - including Le Pressoir - and a universe away from the subpar tourist trap restaurants at Secrets.

Our stay here was fantastic. Beautiful views, spacious studio room, parking is gated. As a resort guest, you are provided with a beach towel per day, lounge chairs on the beach, and l'Occitaine toiletries. My only complaints are that the beds are much firmer than I prefer and it's a little tough to get service on the beach.

The food and views were spectacular at the beach restaurant. I was initially hesitant to come due to a couple reviews talking about bad service. However, when we came at 1pm, the place was packed but the hostess was accommodating and offered us a table that never showed up for their reservation. So, I would recommend making a reservation before coming. Our server was great and pretty attentive. The food was some of the best we’ve had on the island. We ordered the local red snapper, the lobster fettuccine, and the truffle pasta. They have an open kitchen, so you can see all the food being made. I would recommend stopping by here if you have the chance. We parked in the parking lot to the left before you enter through the gates. The resort had a small cart with a driver that can take you right to the beach restaurant.

“Jeff” from the restaurant waited on us our entire day and I would give him 10 ⭐️s if it would let me. He was the best! He even brought drinks to use while we floated in the ocean. You are going to pay more here, but the beach and service are excellent. One of my favorite beaches on St. Martin. It’s also very calm water for kids. We did not stay at the resort so I can not comment on rooms. Drinks and food were very good.

La Terrasse Restaurant is a stylish dining spot located on top of the West Indies Mall, offering breathtaking views of Marigot Bay and the passing boats. As a sister restaurant to La Cigale, it boasts an open-air seating area where guests can enjoy a French-focused menu featuring delectable dishes like baked-egg appetizers, roasted duck with tangy raspberry sauce, and house-made profiteroles.

Slide 1 of 12

The food was literally perfect! The whole experience was awesome. We had an amazing waiter who made the whole atmosphere even better. The prices are really worth the quality of the food. I had the roasted duck and it was one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. And their desserts are also delicious! You have to try their cream brûlée. It tastes like heaven!

In Marigot, the French section, an extremely nice restaurant operated by the owners offers traditional French cuisine of high quality and very well presented. The menu includes: Moules Gratinee, Escargots, Margret de Canard, Cordón Bleu Maison and other Specialties. Desserts are also a must, don’t miss the Apple Tarte a la Mode. Service aims to please every customer’s needs. Beautiful view of the Bay.

We had an amazing dinner at La Terrasse. The restaurant was beautiful and clean and the waitstaff was extremely friendly and attentive. Someone in our group had a number of food allergies and they were very accommodating. The food was great and we all had a fantastic experience!

Great service! Delicious food and a great atmosphere. We will absolutely come back. One of the best meals I have had in a long time!

Tasty drinks, delicious food, and fantastic service! We started with Espresso Martinis, had Burrata to share, and for our mains we had the Specialty Roasted Chicken and Black Angus Steak. Everything was fabulous, and we were consistently checked up on by waitstaff (Especially Ben, shoutout to him!). The views over the water were lovely as well with the sunset. Highly recommend!

It was a quiet night when I visited. However, the servers were really kind and funny. Hats off to the bartender. My Expresso Martini was really good.

This restaurant is by far the best spot on either side of the island! During our stay, we dined here three times, no where else compared and we kept dreaming about all the dishes we had and longing for those we hadn’t tried yet. Ben and Dylan are incredible, every suggestion they made elevated our experience and their wine recommendations made the food sing even more beautifully. With a spectacular view and the most amazing, rotating selection of dishes, this is by far the most memorable part of our vacation. The restaurant is inside the West Indies mall in the back, second floor…so unassuming from the outside, you would never know that you’re about to be whisked away onto a dreamy tucked away, rooftop dining experience surrounded by gorgeous architecture and the most romantic atmosphere. We haven’t stopped talking about the food and wine since we returned home. The scallops were so delicate and prepared perfectly on a bed of gorgeous risotto. Every dish, a brand new experience for the senses, and I highly suggest asking Dylan and Ben for their recommendations, they will not steer you wrong and they will give you an experience to remember. Every night we had a new co*cktail, wine, appetizer and main course as well as a dessert the last night. This restaurant is by far one of the most magical, beautiful places I have dined at with the most incredible and fresh dishes. I will never forget it. Thank you so so so much La Terrasse! You are incredible!!!

My gf and i passed by this place earlier in our vacation while checking out the mall, and we wanted to come back and try it. We came back for dinner one night and everything was delicious. We were lucky enough that the tuna tartare was one of the specials that night as well as a fish entree which we had and both of them as well as everything else we had was incredible. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. The views are nice too. Theres also a cool cat that roams around. 10/10 would eat here again and hopefully will soon.

My family enjoys eating at this restaurant. Had an opportunity to have lunch here with my cousins. Delicious chicken ceaser salad! Roast duck salad is also delicious.

They had no carpaccio on the menu. I told the waiter I was craving for it. The chef fixed me my carpaccio and it was delicious. Not my last time at this rooftop restaurant. Thank you Stephane et Sophie. C’est frais c’est bon.

Amazing view, a very intimate atmosphereGood food, great service, will be back soon for sure

We had dinner here and the menu was fairly limited. The food was good but just be prepared to not have many options to choose from. The location provides a nice view of the area and the service was okay. If you're looking for something light and a drink it's a fine choice.

Little Jerusalem Restaurant SXM in Simpson Bay is a must-visit for some of the best shawarmas on the island. The portions are huge, and the atmosphere is friendly. The Famous wrap with chicken and lamb, along with falafel, were delightful surprises - light and crispy falafel and a generously proportioned, spicy, and tasty wrap. Despite its unassuming location, this spot has won over many patrons with its flavorful food.

Slide 1 of 11

Great spot to stop in for. It is open air seating and has a great view of the strip. The owner is an awesome person, very personable. The food is amazing. The special plate and famous plate are extremely tasty. They also have a great selection of vegetarian plates too.

I love shawarmas. I usually don't find good ones, but I never imagined encountering a place with maybe the best shawarma I've ever had in my entire life! Haha.During our stay in St. Martin, we went there three times, trying three different shawarmas: "The Special," "The Famous," and "The Combo." All three were very tasty, juicy, satisfying, and delicious! It's a humble setting and the atmosphere is relaxing and calm, and the customer service is very friendly. Important info: They only accept cash. You can easily find parking, and the place is right near Simpson Bay Road. Also you can get there by taxi or local bus.I would definitely come back.

I loved this place, the price is very affordable, and hands down the best shawarma on the island. I also really liked the owner, he's friendly and chipper. A man that cares a lot about his food quality. We got The Special and The Famous. If you like spicy and curry, try The Famous. If you love smoked gooey Gouda cheese, get The Special. I thought they were both so good, we went back 3 times during our 1 week stay on the island. Also doubles as an excellent hang over cure, will soak up all that toxicity swimming in your body. Do not skip this spot!

This place is the pure definition of a hole in a wall, or actually a hole in a container for this restaurant. I ordered the Famous shawarma sandwich, which came in a paper bag, you wouldn't expect much from the presentation, however, when you open the bag to unveil the sandwich, you soon realize you've made a mistake judging to quickly. At the beginning, I had to start carving through the sandwich with a fork due to the overstuffness of it. That's where the explosion of tastes happens! As you chew, you discover the myriads of spices, ingredients working in harmony in your mouth, the taste of the meat, the perfect balance of spiciness, the potatoes , the latus, the pepper, the sauce, the thickness of the bread, even the temperature was spot on. This man, has perfected this sandwich over the decades. On top of all that, the price was very reasonable. This place is a Gem. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu!!

Overall Score 4.6 out of 5These shawarma's are amazing!!!! You must go here!I can't say enough amazing things about this place. So good!

Shawarma is delicious. One of the best places to dine in or for takeout on Simpson Bay. Very reasonable price yet delicious food.I opted for the "The Famous". It was packed full of protein. Tasty, delicious, satisfying and enjoyable. The atmosphere is relaxing & calm. Customer service is excellent.

The food was well cooked and tasty. the owner was so kind, friendly and conversational.A bit of a wait to pick up the food on a Friday evening as the owner is the one who cooks every meal but worth the wait. The best (and maybe the only) shawarma place in the island.

This is our 10th time back to St Maarten, the last time being January of 2017. We were excited to see that Little Jerusalem survived the hurricane. Without a doubt some of the best flavored food on the island. The menu is not large, but the shwarma’s are absolutely the best. The price he charges makes you feel guilty for the quality and value. Food doesn’t get any better than this. DO NOT let the container truck scare you. We had the Special and The Famous. Plenty left over for lunch the next day.

Absolutely great food! We stopped in for a bite to take back to our room and picked up the Shwarma Special and it was sooo good! And for $10! Do not hesitate to try this place. Had others around the island for $15 and $18 and this place is so much better for less. Fresh made, quick service and the counter staff is very friendly.

Unusually nice place in an unexpected spot!Went here based on food-related reviews and was not disappointed.I had The Famousl wrap (chicken and lamb with some kind of nice melty cheese in it) and my partner the falafel and was pleasantly surprised by how light and crispy the falafel was and how spicy, tasty and generously proportioned the wrap was.The owner is a real character and welcomed a number of local regulars while we were there enjoying our time. Will definitely come again to try something else.

Delicious! The meat and hummus here are so tasty, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. Highly recommend it.

Favorites include the Tuna Turnt Up and Saints & Sinners rolls. The service is top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring a delightful dining experience.

Loved this place! My husband and I visited twice during our six days in Anguilla. Sushi rolls were amazing with tons of flavor and creativity. Everything was great (really - can’t go wrong here), but the hubby loved the “Tuna Turnt Up” and my favorite was “Saints & Sinners”. Service was top notch and food came out quickly. Highly, highly recommended if you love creative sushi rolls!!!

Honestly, this place has such a cool, chill vibe!!! Super fun for a group or just a couple to hang out. Really relaxed vibe, great food, wonderful staff!!!

The quality of sushi and service at IWAS was outstanding. I wish I’d discovered this restaurant earlier and hope to eat there several more times in the next two weeks. The sushi reminds me of a fabulous meal at a Japanese restaurant in Shanghai.

THEE Best menu! And service to match! A must visit if you’re on island and a place also frequented by locals. The menu is unique and every item is delicious. Includes the best sushi on the island. Drinks are great too. They have live music weekly which adds a great touch. The decor is creative and sets the mood for a great dinner.

IWAS had great food, especially the sushi. The friendly service and tasty drinks were everything we could have hoped for and more. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

The sushi here was phenomenal and the service was excellent. We ordered way too much food both times we came here, but it was so delicious. The staff continually checked on us and were so easy to talk to. Everyone welcomed us back immediately on our second visit and was so kind and cheerful! I hope our travels bring us back to Anguilla, because the first place we'll stop is Mirabelle's.

Best sushi on the island!!So I have a little story to tell.Due to our phones not working we were unable to make a reservation for the next night. We were driving by and saw the door was open. We popped our heads into this stunning and unique room that was all black and red and felt like night club. At the same time there was this absolute feeling of warmth and welcome. They weren’t open yet but the OWNER walks up to us and starts talking, telling us that we could stop in anytime tomorrow and she would have a table for us.And she did!She came over multiple times to check on us. We asked her at one point about the decor and she proceeded to tell us her fascinating story. Where she was born and raised, her decision to leave and then returned, overtook many obstacles and setbacks. This wonderfully warm and accomplished woman has done it all, including having the best sushi on the island as well as making everyone that walks in the door feel welcome.🍣 🍱Her and her staff go way over and beyond care and hospitality on top of having the best, most fresh and flavorful sushi I’ve ever had!Can you give 6 out of 5 stars?⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We wanted to go back but ran out of time. Will definitely be going back as soon as we return to Anguilla. You MUST check them out!!
